This project by 300 producers in the indie videomaker community in the U.S. and internationally addressed the United Nations Special Session on Disarmament
in NYC May - July 1982. The 60 raw tapes with 3000 interviews and several dozen edits were cablecast non-stop on Manhattan cable TV where UN delegates channel surfing could see the faces of public opinion. Also, screened "closed circuit," in media centers, art gallery installations, and academia.
It is a time capsule of an issue that is still as relevant today as well as a metaphor for our current world-wide affliction.
